Try to add new folder or bookmark:
Doesn't work: The only thing that happens is that the box where you add a
name/URL is properly dismissed when filled out and i've clicked OK
But no bookmark or folder is actually added and no errors appear.

This was a bug filed about a tar.gz build. According to invalid status in bug 
51330, only Installer builds are valid to file bugs about. I wasn't aware of 
this. Setting invalid.

a note for posterity...
this bug isn't 'invalid' for the above stated reasons. To date, there is nothing wrong or
'bad' about using tar.gz builds and not using the installer. However, the bug fails to
reproduce with the 2000091208 builds so it's at best a WFM. Rather than generate (more)
spam  by unverifying and resetting to WFM, I'll just leave it be for now.

this was caused by the glibc bug in v. 2.1.3-19, actually. So it WAS invalid ;)

yeah I know, I read bug 51330 :-)
I just didn't wnat anybody to read the installer vs. tar part and get all scared like I did,
because I never use the installer.
