User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090926 SeaMonkey/2.0pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090926 SeaMonkey/2.0pre Now web page context menu contain item "web search", and it open search of selected on page words with default search engine. Be better to place there menu with all installed search engines, and possibility to choose engine to perform current search. This functionality nowe realized by "Context Search" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/240?src=sharingapi) extension. I think this extension functionality should br integrated into browser. Reproducible: Always
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Severity: normal → enhancement
Component: General → Search
Product: Firefox → SeaMonkey
QA Contact: general → search
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 2.0 Branch
Depends on: 410613
This is overkill for the default configuration and should really be add-on fodder. After bug 410613, it should become easy though to make the Firefox add-on work with SeaMonkey as well.
