I'm not sure how the custom search engine needs the HTML divided up, but could you try and see if we could use the existing templates here?  If not, I'm happy to help move the HTML around as needed.
Closing old Mozilla.org website bugs due to them not being relevant to the new Python-based Bedrock system. Re-open if this is a critical bug and should be resolved on the new system too.
