Can't change part of url

Details
If I want to goto http://www.netscape.com from http://www.mozilla.org, I can't
highlight anything after the www. without the whole url getting highlighted.
The sites I gave are just examples. You can insert any 2 sites.
Which build ID are you seeing this with?
(Please ALWAYS include build ID in a bug-report if possible, found to the right
in window title area)
Could be a dup of bug 51856 "textarea/textfield can only select all, partial
selections not working". A fix was checked in evening Sept. 8th. Later builds
are OK.
