Description

[krupa raj[:krupa]]

steps to reproduce:
1.Go to Jetpack homepage
2.Click on the contributors link
3.Search or "krupa"
4.Notice the two search results-"krupa123" and "_krupa_"
5.Search or "krupa123"
6.Search for "_krupa_"
7Search for "vish_moz" and "___"

observed behavior:
For steps #5,#6 and #7 search returns no results in spite of search phrases being actual contributor names.

I'm befuddled.  I can't replicate this problem on my sandbox server.  

I can replicate this problem on stage with existing users.  But I can't replicate this problem on stage with a newly created user.  I created a new user 'dude123' and am able to find that user when searching 'dude123'...  Hmph.

I am able to reproduce this bug with a newly created account.

STR:
1.Create a new account -"bee_123"
2.Log in to the new account
3.Click on "Contributors"
4.Search for "bee_123"

observed behavior:
search returns no results

Search is unable to find special chars and numbers in jetpacks and contributor names.

Found the issue with underscores and have resolved that issue.

Cannot duplicate that same problem with numbers.

To test, you will need to ensure that the user updates their profile, so that it resaves the user's profile in the search index.

For step#2,there are no search results

This should fix it.  Will need to run 2 scripts, first on stage, then on production after the rollout.
