All day today I've been finding MXR incredibly slow to complete searches or respond to queries.  I notice others on #developers having the same issues.  This was first something I noticed at ~11:30 EDT, and it has come and gone through the rest of the day.

nagios has been showing complaints in #bmo all day as well:

I can't get any searches to complete at all this afternoon (I've tried several times over the past hour).  When a "results" page actually loads (which is not all of the time), it always just displays "Searching…" and eventually the progress bar disappears and I never get any results.

Can we kick the priority up a notch?

From the logs it looks like we had an ongoing DoS from a Chinese IP crawling the site too quickly.  The IP has been blocked.
