All you can see is a black box with the tab title under it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open a pdf document 2.switch the tabs with ctrl + tab or click the symbol at the end of the tab bar Actual Results: You see a black box with the title of your pdf under it. Expected Results: a preview of the document as you see it for tabs with html pages open

So this happens with the embedded Adobe Acrobat reader? If yes which version are you using?
Yes it happens with the Adobe Reader plug-in. I'm using 9.1.0.163. It is the latest version, I think.
This is basically bug 313462.
