Unable to paste screen-shot into Composer

Details
Steps to reproduce:
- hit a PrintScrn button on your keyboard;
- open Composer;
- insert the screen-shot by either going to Edit|Paste or Ctrl+V;
//note: nothing happens
expected behavior (as in 4.x) : image conversion dlgbox (when needed) comes up
and the screen-shot is pasted after OK'ing it
