Some links in the Firefox GUI refer to secure pages at *.www.mozilla.com. This is a problem for localized builds because now you got the "This connection is untrusted" warning after clicking at one of these links.

https://*.www.mozilla.com should not cause this warning at all. It irritates the user and makes the user feel that Firefox doesn't trust mozilla.com.

You can find examples for these links to Mozilla SSL pages in the "Add-ons may be causing problems" window and the Add-ons manager when a plugin was blocked.
Matthew, this is more an IT issue, right?
Isn't this a dup of bug 522864? I'm pretty sure the fix is to stop doing the redirect. Has that not been pushed out yet?

(I suspect Reed knows more about where this is than I do)
It's more a dupe of bug 505031. Thanks Matthew.
