What do you mean?
You can customize the toolbar to show the Print button, which has a submenu for showing Print Preview...

I dislike submenus on toolbar items. I want toolbar items to give direct access on the first click.

To get to the submenu I have to precisely aim at the small arrow and I need a second click. The main menu is more comfortable. It has a broad File item and needs the same number of clicks to get to Preview.

I didn't even remember that the Print icon had a submenu because it was one of the first items I disabled after installation.

It'd make sense to make the default action of the Print Button configurable, so that you can configure whether hitting the button should go to printing directly or take you to the preview...

Having two separate printing buttons is something for extensions, though.

Making the default action of the Print Button configurable, unless done on a per-button basis, will not solve the problem of this bug for those people who want two separate buttons, one for Print and one for Print Preview.

Having two separate buttons (Print vs. Print Preview) optionally available for toolbar customization makes a lot of sense as it is the default set for many other popular applications like MS Word and OOO Writer (only that some call it Page Preview). Some users, like the reporter, might even opt for only having the print preview button on the toolbar (either because they never print directly without preview, or because they can use Ctrl+P for the direct printing dialogue).

IMHO this is quite basic so it shouldn't need an extension. Same applies to Thunderbird (needs new bug).
