Following up on the mozilla.com meeting earlier today, I'm opening a bug to have the Get Involved link in the About section of mozilla.com updated to point to the following page on mozilla.org:

http://www.mozilla.org/contribute/

In addition, it would be helpful to have a redirect set up so people who are getting to this page from other places get sent to the updated Get Involved page.

To clarify, this doesn't apply to the in-product Get Involved page and the page on www.mozilla.org is currently only available in English.

I'm ok with this change. Steven, can you make the fix? Would be great to keep the old page archived, though, in case we need to switch back for any reason.

Also, in terms of priorities, this is lower priority than the 3.6 or mobile work, so let's clear through that list first.

Should this be done for en-US only? There is a pt-BR/about/get-involved.html on mozilla.com as well.

This is (finally) done in trunk (r62108). Merged from trunk to stage in r62109.

This touches a lot of files (changed most links to avoid unnecessary redirects), so it should probably be merged to production with this changeset only.

It looks like this is live and working correctly.  I'll hold off on closing this though until Steven can verify since he mentions this change touching a lot of files and I'm not sure where everything is to check.

The redirect is working, but it doesn't look like all of the updated links across mozilla.com have been pushed from Stage to Production yet. This isn't a problem, as the redirect is working, but let's get those pushed before we close out this bug.
