Not seeing this at all in Firefox 3.5.4 with SQLite version 3.6.16: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?product=Firefox&version=Firefox%3A3.5.4&query_search=signature&query_type=exact&query=sqlite3MemCompare&date=&range_value=1&range_unit=weeks&do_query=1&signature=sqlite3MemCompare

Someone dropped into #firefox and reported http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-da9d0b1c-c840-40ab-9b18-b5c3f2091102 with 3.5.4. There are few other crashes at the link in comment #1.

I have been getting this crash on Firefox 29 using the Rikaisama extension. I have found steps that reliably reproduce it for me on: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 1. Install latest version of Rikaisama extension (v20.2) from http://rikaisama.sourceforge.net/#download 2. Restart Firefox 3. Install the Rikaichan Japanese-English Dictionary File extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rikaichan-jpen/ 4. Restart Firefox 5. Go to the Add-ons page and open the Options dialog for the Rikaisama extension 6. On the Dictionaries tab, enable the "Show frequency information" checkbox and click OK 7. Open any page with Japanese text (e.g. http://ja.wikipedia.org/) 8. Enable Rikaisama by clicking the red circle button in the toolbar 9. Move your mouse around over the Japanese text on the page. The browser should crash within a few seconds. Note that "Show frequency information" has to be enabled for the crash to happen. After the crash the settings change might not have been saved, so you may need to enable it again. I tried the same steps on the latest Nightly and did not manage to reproduce the crash.
I'm also getting this crash (perfectly reproducible.) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 Same reproduce steps as dobysirius posted, with some notes: - Enabling "Show pithc accent information" also causes these crashes - Can reproducibly crash (with pitch accent enabled) on the first word of this sentence: "ついに実験が成功した。".

I can confirm Comment 5/Comment 6 against Firefox 29, but not with 30/31/32. Can you reproduce this with newer Versions? http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/all/ http://nightly.mozilla.org/

I have no "Rikaisama" extension, but still got the crash at random point: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/e59ee045-b13a-4d11-b842-afb582140526
