Starting from the beta-candidates of Firefox 3.6 there's support for the Windows Seven taskbar: The tabs are listed when clicking on or hovering the Firefox/Minefield icon. If you use Aero Peek (I don't) there are thumbnails.
I would like to have an option to turn of this feature (hope I didn't overlook it), because it takes one click more to get there I want. Doesn't sound quite convincing, but if I you need to change between Office and Firefox to look up information often, you first have to click on the Firefox icon, then find the tab you want to open and then click on it.
And another thing: You can't see to which window a tab belongs in the preview. I don't know if this is actually possible, but it would be good to somehow frame the tabs that belong to one window.
Reproducible: Always

In about:config, set browser.taskbar.previews.enable to false. There is no GUI
option.
As far as switching to/from office, there is still alt-tab.
There is no way to draw a frame around the tabs that belong to a window. They should be grouped by window however (though we have little control over this, sadly).

As you can see in the attachment the tabs aren't grouped by windows. First comes "Bug 524742" and a search for the windows seven taskbar api, then some other open windows and only then all the other tabs of the window. (But I think there already is a bug on wrong tab order.) Furthermore mozilla-central and MDC haven't got favicons in the taskbar though they have in the Firefox window.
And thanks for the config. Knew it must be there...
