(Whiteboard: [closeme 2010-08-10])
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; hu; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; hu; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7
I recently downloaded Firefox Setup 3.5.4.exe, installed it, and removed it only a few hours later. (Actually I reinstalled the 3.0.7. version...) Here's why:
1. It doesn't recognize my favourite theme (annoying, but survivable)
2. It doesn't like my favourite download manager (FDM - very annoying, but still survivable)
3. The MAIN PROBLEM. It doesn't restart my previous session - and belive me: I know how to configure that! (this is not only extremely annoying, but almost lethal!!!)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firefox 3.5.4.
2. Configure it to continue previous session: Tools etc. (Eszközök - Beállítások - Főlap - Indítás - A múltkori ablakok és lapok megjelenítése) - (I have the hungarian version...)
3. Open some pages you want to see next time you start your browser.
4. Exit Firefox.
5. Have a break. Or not.
6. Start Firefox.
Actual Results:
It will open http://hu.start2.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:hu:official.
No other tabs or pages.
Expected Results:
Restore my previously opened tabs and pages. Or at least tabs...
Theme: Default. (It doesn't like Firefoxp)
OS: WinXP HE SP2, computer: IBM Thinkpad etc, but that isn't the problem!

I have the problem of Firefox 3.6 not opening the pages when I select use current pages. I opens just 1 or 2 pages out of 10. It is reproducible,I have tried a half dozen times.

After you quit Firefox is there a sessionstore.js in your profile folder?
Do you have Firefox set to delete history upon quitting?
Are you stuck in private browsing mode?
Do you have the same problems using a new profile? If not, then there's a good chance something (extension, settings, etc) is interacting poorly.

I am the only one who uses this computer so I do not set profiles.
I have never had this problem with other (older) versions of FF.
I have always used the 'Use current pages' option and it has always worked fine, now I am having to use the 'show my windows and tabs from the previous session' option to have my pages open properly with out having to open them manually.

Ohhhh So session restore is working fine. But the problem is with setting your home page(s), which is an entirely different problem. Please file a new bug and give as much information as you can so we can try to reproduce (does it always happen, does it happen with particular web sites, etc).

Ok I have submitted a new bug report so we can disregard what I have listed here.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.8 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
