Not much to say: unsubscribing from RSS feeds doesn't work.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click on RSS folder, select "Subscribe..." option
2. Select an RSS feed in the subscription window
3. Click "Remove"
4. Acknowledge with "Yes"
Actual Results:
RSS feed remains subscribed and visible in the folder
Expected Results:
RSS feed is unsubscribed and removed from the folder

The feed items you have already downloaded are meant to stay there - you have to manually delete those as well (for instance, you may have feed items from other feeds that you have put in the same folder).
Unless I'm miss-understanding you, I think this is invalid.

Sure,
Hmm, I'm not complaining about the posts. I'm complaining about the feed itself staying around. Find the screenshot attached that's the window I'm talking about.
You see the hackernews feed is selected and then I pressed "Remove", acknowledged the confirmation and that's what I end up with: nothing removed.

By now I switched to the official release. (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Lightning/1.0b1pre Thunderbird/3.0)
AFAICT I'm running the 32bit version now (on my x86_64 platform). I've updated the metadata accordingly.
Hardware: x86_64 → x86
Version: unspecified → 1.9.1 Branch

Well this problem is still there. Removing a feed does nothing.
I decided to kill all my RSS feeds in Thunderbird because of the duplicates bug :-
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=608520 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258465
I removed all the feeds (which I understand leaves the folders, but the feeds are still coming in (and still duplicating).
