Notepad should be the default HTML editor ... it's just a convenience for all us web developers to have notepad open whenever we want to view our page's source quickly (i.e. view the page, click View Source). Simple feature request :)

Sorry... But Notepad cannot open large files. What will you do if a page is 87Kb?
in general it's poor form to insult someone's suggestion in a bug that has already been verified as a duplicate. beyond that, it's poor form to base your insult on a faulty asusmption. Notepad on NT doesn't mind multimegabyte files. and notepad on 9x will offer to use write to open the file.
Can we quit adding comments to this duplicate?
