When I upgraded from Firefox 3.5.4 to Firefox 3.6b1 I found that creating a new window is very slow.  This happens when I use command-n, and also when I right-click on a link and choose "Open in New Window."  There is a significant lag between the command and the appearance of a new window that was not there in Firefox previously.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new window using any of the various methods to do so.
Actual Results:  
You will experience a lag between the command and the appearance of a new window.

Expected Results:  
The window should have appeared with the same speed that it does with Firefox 3.5.x

Mac OS X 10.6.1.  Occurs under any given memory/processor load.

I don't see this using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2b2pre) Gecko/20091102 Namoroka/3.6b2pre. Please make sure you launch in safe mode with extensions disabled and see the same behavior.

I didn't see this using the Firefox 3.6 beta 1 candidate either.

I checked in safe mode--the problem disappears.  I disabled the "Vacuum Places Improved" extension (which was marked as compatible with 3.6b1), and the problem went away.
