I'd like to deploy the following fixes:

They've been verified on tinderbox-stage (bug 524334 and dependent bugs).

It would be good to first verify that the diff between what's currently running on production and current CVS tip contains only those changes, lest there be any surprises.

The cvs update pulled your changes there + a change to ep_unittest.pl.  It seemed harmless, so I pushed it.

Resolution: --- → FIXED
That's slightly odd, since that change (bug 523394 presumably) should have been pushed out in bug 523974, but maybe you and Derek used a different process?

In any case, the other changes look good - thanks!
