The password will be asked to be changed rather than stored as a password for the same login on a different domain.
For example, if you use google apps to administer multiple email hosts and a different password is used for the same email account (i.e. info@example.com and info@secondexample.com) - firefox thinks you're just logging into google.com/mail/ and thus stores it as the same account.
