Our mobile pages will allow sending an SMS message to the friends using a Nokia N900 to propose them to download Firefox.

To this effect, please translate the following message in your language and put it in this bug comments:

A. In case the SMS has length limitations, please note that the utf8 encoding take more than one byte per character, making the regular SMS message length to pass the limit of ~120-160 bytes. Please take an extra care as this might become a restrictive issue for languages that doesn't use the latin1 character set. 

B. As some phones doesn't have built-in bidi support, and others are changing the direction to RTL on ar/fa/he UI, I think it would be better not to mess with language directions mix. We can do it by changing the string to "Select/click the following link to download/get the browser to your device/mobile phone/etc.".

There is another possibility - to send multipart message (I don't know what the exact term here is, but the idea is that you send a longer message which is being split into multiple physical messages, and the recieving device displays them as one). This is technically possible and supported on many (most?) phones.
