Pretty much the same thing.
I was worried about try, but we don't build Fennec desktop on try, and no other platforms are using this function atm.

Armen: these are tested for linux, osx, win32 on m-c successfully (default), and on linux and osx successfully on Tracemonkey (0.8.0).  Windows doesn't compile on Tracemonkey due to bug 591802.
