Presently, BespinEmbedded.js is just under 500K before gzipping. We should work to shave even more off of that for the next release.
Punting on this for this release. It's not completely critical yet.

This is done with the switch to jQuery. (Bespin is now under 300K before gzipping, and that includes jQuery.)
