happens on NT and Mac. On Linux, the unknown file dialog doesn't even appear.
builds 2000-09-15-08-M18.
1. Launch the browser.
2. Enter a real file url (try something like file:///C|/ on NT).
3. Now add a non-existent file to the url (i.e. file:///C|/unreal.txt
4. Press Enter.
5. Now on Linux, no "Unknown File" dialog appears. That appears to be one one
bug. On NT and Mac, we get "Unknown File type" msg". Press "Save File".
6. When the "Save File" dialog appears, press "Save".
Result: Untitled msg window appears with "unknown error [1 80520012]
Expected: A titled window with a descriptive error (i.e. "can't save unknown
file").

note: I wasn't exactly sure what component to assign this to, so please reassign
as necessary. thanks.

This might have something to do with the vaugely simmillar bug 53002, which
gives "Unknown error [1 804B0015]".

cannot seem to get this to occur reliably, but it occurred recently after i
changed the save directory (in the xul file picker): ie, after selecting a
different dir, the progress dialog appeared for a second, then it disappeared
and i got the error. couldn't repeat it again, reliably, alas.

This is fixed. "Unknown File" dlog doesn't appear. html and body tags spill on
the screen (Win and Mac), but I don't know if that's really a problem. If so, I
think it would be another bug.
