This is intermittent because the first Mochitest-5 run of http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/45b482e31486 failed with this and the second run did not.

Attachment: move definition of checkFirst above definition of iframe

Because an iframe and the rest of the elements on a page race, it's possible that the onload of the iframe would fire before the script that followed the iframe on the main page finished loading. So define the relevant functions above the iframe, and move the globals into the functions so that we're sure that they exist when we evaluate them.
