User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009101601 Firefox/3.0.15 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009101601 Firefox/3.0.15 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) If I enter the beginning of a URI for a website into Firefox and select the specific page I want from the drop-down and then click stop, Firefox continues to load the URI. In this case, I was loading the IP address of a Zimbra web server on the admin port, rather than the domain based URI. I stopped it to use the domain based URI instead. As I was typing the domain based URI, an SSL error came up due to the certificate being for the domain based URI and not the IP based URI. This should not have happened, the stop button should stop all activity and let the user proceed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. browse to 204.244.212.16:7071 2. press stop before the page loads 3. try to enter entel-communications.com:7071 4. be interrupted by the SSL error message Actual Results: Firefox should stop and let the user type a different address, without presenting the user with a dialog related to the original address entered before the stop button was pressed. Expected Results: The error message from the previous address popped up while I was typing the correct address.
