User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2b4pre) Gecko/20091123 Namoroka/3.6b4pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2b4pre) Gecko/20091123 Namoroka/3.6b4pre Playing a local ogg video it plays fine first, if you pause it and hit play again, it no longer plays. only way to get it playing again is to reload the video. this is on Ubuntu 9.10 with shipped version 3.5.5 and nightly, Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open local video in browser window 2. press play 3. wait some seconds 4. press pause 5. press play Actual Results: video no longer plays Expected Results: video should play again
I can reproduce on Fedora 12 with 3.5.x and the 3.6 nightlies as well.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
I can also reproduce on fedora 12 (firefox 3.5.5 1.fc12) Seeking by moving the playback thumb also stops playback. If the video hasn't been paused, it completes the seek, then fails to continue playback. If it has been paused, or if one tries to seek a second time, it shows the wait spinner and does nothing further.
I cannot reproduce with Firefox 3.5.5 on MacOS 10.6.2, using the same file I used in comment 2.
