If the bookmarks are organized in folders (traditional way) and I search for bookmarks e.g. containing "mozilla" ("Lesezeichen verwalten -> Bibliothek -> Suchen" in German), the folders containing the links of my search result are not shown.
The folder the link is stored in on my computer should be displayed, either as additional field, or better:
the left side of the manage-bookmarks-window (Bibliothek" in German) shows all folders. It could jump to the one containing my search result an highlight it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. organize your bookmarks in Folders
2. search for bookmarks e.g. containing "mozilla" ("Lesezeichen verwalten -> Bibliothek -> Suchen" in German)
3. you find a lot of links, but the _folders_ in which the bookmarks are found are not presented.
-> I often want to put a new related bookmark into the same folder, but need to find it before...
Actual Results:

Expected Results:

This is not really the case: Bug 531264 is rather a duplicate of Bug 171575 - see Comment #5, because it is about the tree view common to old Netscape 4.

The related bug unfortunately is "verified wontfix" w/o any reason given, and either it should be reopened or 531264 left open.

Is there a special problem with this, being essentially open since 2003?

Filed related bug 532019, slightly different in that the right window pane shouldn't control the left window pane for external consistency, but still allows the user to locate folders and tags while searching the library (double clicking one will then navigate, resulting in changes to both window panes).

Let's not water down our votes. If you file 10 similar bugs, you spread the votes on them and the original never gets the attention it deserves. We have to focus the awareness, not spread it.
