Summary: Costco Store Locator doesn't work if UA string doesn't contain Firefox. → costco.com - Store Locator doesn't work if UA string doesn't contain "Firefox"
Well, this bug still exists as filed. That is, in browsers that lack "Firefox" in the UA string, the store locator is broken. It's entirely possible they're now sniffing specifically for certain Firefox UAs and rejecting everything else (which IMO is even worse than the original bug). But I don't see much point in filing a second bug when this one is still clearly a problem and so far no one has accomplished anything :-p
I've emailed Costco twice. Never gotten a response. I assume they aren't interested in fixing it. Maybe someone with an @mozilla email address will get better results.
Bob, can you help out here?
I get Error: currentMode is null Source File: http://ecn.dev.virtualearth.net/mapcontrol/mapcontrol.ashx?v=6.2&mkt=en-us Line: 1 which is in the MapPoint code which is littered with Firefox ua stuff. I don't see a separate bug on any virtualearth url I do see several for MapPoint though: bug 315892, bug 318971, bug 569279 Joe, can you help us out here?
ISTR there was another bug a while back about Virtualearth that was recently (within the past eight months) fixed, though it may have also been a sneaky one like this, with embedded Virtualearth code. I won't have time to go digging for it until at least Sunday afternoon, though. cl
Site works now.
