Now that Places nodes have expandos, the viewIndex is no longer an explicit property. Places library uses _viewIndex to show that it is a private field. Places library also moves the properties cache (previously stored as a separate field in the visibleElements array) to the _cellProperties property on the Places node so that the visibleElements can directly contain Places nodes. These changes can be thought of as the following three renames: 1. Rename of visibleElements[].node.viewIndex to .node._viewIndex 2. Rename of visibleElements[].properties to .node._cellProperties 3. Rename of visibleElements[].node to visibleElements[] Feel free to mention any other UI-related code changes that I've overlooked.
