Build id: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Window3sCE 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.2b5pre) Gecko/20091201 Namoroka/3.6b5pre Fennec/1.0a4pre Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the mobile 1.9.2 nightly builds page 2. Download and Run the .exe installer for fennec Actual Results: The installation passes, but I receive the following error after it has finished installing: "There were errors during installation: CreateShortcut failed. Last Error - 80" This is not seen on the HTC Touch Pro Expected Results: There shouldn't be any problems creating a shortcut for fennec on the Omnia 2

Yeah, this happens everytime
Omnia 2 seems to be special in this respect. There is a bug 513071 wrt start icon on Omnia. Could you confirm that issue happened with CAB installer before? Can you figure out where all the icons of installed applications are located on Omnia 2? Just a global search for *.lnk may help here. Total Commander can do this, if system search doesn't reveal anything.
with a fresh rom flash on my omnia2, I installed the lateset 1.9.2 20091202 nightly (.exe) and despite the 19 security warnings, I had no issues installing or warnings/errors related to shortcut creation. Keep in mind that this had no previous version of Fennec or any other tools, software installed.
I am unable to reproduce this with the current build on a regular test device (not freshly flashed). Tried with Fennec installed and without - works for me every time, no errors.
