A few days ago, comm-1.9.1 nightlies of Sunbird have been "demoted" from 1.0pre to 1.0b1pre. This change has not been reflected in DOM Inspector, however, whose versions 2.0.2, 2.0.3 and 2.0.4 have "1.0pre" as their minVersion for Sunbird.

Reproducible: Always.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install the latest build for your platform from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/sunbird/nightly/latest-comm-1.9.1
2. Download DOM Inspector from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/sunbird/addon/6622 and store it somewhere on your hard drive.
3. In the Sunbird nightly from (1) above, click "Edit => Preferences" (or maybe Tools => Options) then "Advanced => Config Editor"
4. Type ns.ch in the Filter box and make sure that extensions.checkCompatibility is set at its default value, i.e., false. If necessary, click right on it, then Reset.
5. Close the Config Editor
6. In the same Sunbird ("Calendar") instance, click "Tools => Add-ons"
7. The Addons Manager comes up. Click "Install".
8. Browse to the .xpi file you downloaded in (2)

Actual results: Failure to install, caused by a version incompatibility.

Expected results: DOMi should install and work correctly.

P.S. Sunbird nightlies for Linux are currently not being built due to a lack of disk space. If you're on Linux, browse to the latest subdirectory in http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/sunbird/tinderbox-builds/comm-1.9.1-linux/ instead of the URL given at step 1 of comment #0 above.
