When I installed the Fast youtube download add on and the tab progress bar, Google disappeared from the search box as a search engine

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download fast youtube download
2.Download Tab Progress bar
3.Restart Firefox
Actual Results:
Google disappeared from the search box as a search engine

Expected Results:
Shouldn't have deleted Google as a search engine
If you click on the icon next to the search box do you see Google listed? It could be that the add-on changed your default search engine.

Yes I did but it wasn't there
Reporter, can you please create a fresh profile and test again? Is the Google Search present then? If yes, please install the above mentioned extensions and check again if it gets removed. Further you should check the search subfolder in the firefox application folder if the google.xml file is present or not.
Ricky, have you been able to try the suggestions in comment 3? Have you resolved this issue?
