Details

On Platforms where browser.preferences.instantApply is false (for example, Windows), none of the changes in the Options UI are applied without pressing the OK button. Weave does not honor this rule for its Start Over option. STR: 1. Start with a profile with Weave already set up. 2. Go to Tools > Options, the Sync tab. 3. Press Manage Account, and then Start Over. 4. Press Cancel. 5. Re-open the Options window. What should happen: all of the changes should be discarded, and Weave should continue to use the previously provided credentials. What happens: Weave has been reset, and the user has to set up their account again.
I know this isn't awesome, but not going to look at this until 1.1 at the earliest, since adding rollback ability is especially problematic given the flow here, and we're close to release. I'm actually okay with the incongruity for 1.0.
Target Milestone: --- → 1.1
Perhaps we should at least prompt before continuing ?

Target Milestone: 1.1 → 1.3
Actually, I'm going to have Paul make this a prompt in bug 539057 and WONTFIX this. (For precedent, see Clear Recent History!)
