The update function does not work for FF 3.0 with Windows 2000 SP4.

All of my bookmarks have vanished.

I cannot save anything to the bookmark toolbar.

Not sure about the updater. Have you tried to manually download and install the latest firefox?

I've done the manual install, and everything seems to be OK - so far so good.

I seem to have solved my problem for the time being, but I don't know what to tell you about solving the updater problem. If it does it again, I'll know where to go.

I've retrieved my bookmarks from a saved HTML set, so I'm OK there.
