Intentionally typing a wrong field value, email_in.pl sent me an email back about this problem, but the encoding is wrong, in both the subject and in the body:

It seems that most parts of the email is not UTF-8 encoded, but ISO-8859-1, despite what Content-Type says.

Actually, I just tested this with some Russian characters and your name, and I couldn't reproduce it. The sent email was correctly encoded in data/mailer.testfile.
