If Flash is the variable in this problem then it makes sense to report the issue to Adobe. http://bugs.adobe.com/flashplayer/

There are some scroll bugs fixed in the last few weeks. Can you retest with the latest trunk nightly build?
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/
@Ria: I tried it out with the latest-mozilla-central and Namoroka. In both cases it works fine and much better than with 3.6b5!!!
But I tested with HD videos on youtube, too. While playing the HD videos scrolling is bad, too, in latest-mozilla-central and Namoroka. But this could be, because the CPU-Usage rizes up to 105% and my graphic is only an intel-on-board... (MacBook3.1)

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

It's smooth now!!! No problems with 3.6.13.
But scrolling is very jerky in FF 4.0 Beta 8 and Trunk, now.
Please test it: http://www.viviano.de/ak/Kinotrailer/limitless-51149.shtml

With what version of flash? New profile?

I don't see any problem scrolling the site in comment 5. The site is overloaded with scripts that cause it to load slowly for me though.
I have Flash Version 10.1.102.64 installed. A new profile doesn't make it better.
Scrolling is really jerky while WATCHING the trailer. This mostly happens when playing flash-clips with the "old" player where scrolling stops over flash-content.
Maybe it is related to my old hardware:
Macbook 3,1 - 2,2 GHz core2duo with Intel Graphic GMA X3100
Does it still exist with Firefox 11+ and Flash Player 11.2.202.233+ ?
Try it with en-/disabled Flash Player hardware acceleration please.
Check/update your graphics driver and OS too.
