Details
Mozilla displays a black background instead of the actual background colour on
some pages. Scrolling the page reveals the actual background colour, but
scrolling back to the affected region redisplays the black background. An
example of this is this page:
http://www.cnn.com/2000/TECH/space/09/21/black.hole.ap/ (displays black background).

Verified duplicate. I observed the same effect today; in fact, on the same story!
