Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 A custom toolbar (created by the user, not an addon) is always visible when firefox is started. Unlike the Bookmarks Toolbar or the Navigation Toolbar, the status of the custom toolbar is not stored. When hiding the Bookmarks Toolbar for instance, it will remain hidden (over multiple sessions) until the user selects it to be shown again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to View -> Toolbars -> Customize 2. click "Add New Toolbar" 3. Enter a name like "Test Toolbar" 4. Drag some icons on the new toolbar 5. Click "Done" 6. go to View -> Toolbars and uncheck "Test Toolbar" to hide it (alternatively you can right click on any toolbar) and uncheck it there 7. close Firefox 8. start Firefox Actual Results: the Test Toolbar is shown Expected Results: the Test Toolbar should be hidden. It should only be visible if it was visible when Firefox was closed. I tried this on Linux and Windows, so is apparently a general problem.
