Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.7a1pre
Steps:
1. Load a local file that uses a local GIF (e.g. bug 202369 comment 2).
2. Delete the GIF.
3. Reload the page (Cmd+R, not Cmd+Shift+R).
Result: alt text is shown (good), but throbber spins for quite some time (bad).
