I'm sorry, but i fail to see how this is a bug... Please give more details.
Say to the user that there is a bug, when there is not any bug, is also a bug .... the "restore what" is a "feature" nut an embarassing problem
I'm sorry, I didn't understand you. We say "This is embarrassing" when firefox closes unexpectedly two times in a row. That way, the user can select which windows and tabs he would like to re-open, in case one of them is causing a crash or other problem. I don't see why we shouldn't say this.
If Firefox can not open a site this is in the most time not an fault of Firefox. There is no need to be embarassed for faults of other persons. The restore choice screen is a feature of firefox, no need to be embarassed! In the most time there is not any problem of all to reopen ALL listed sites. But it is often a very good idea to clean the list.
reporter: are you using the French translation of Firefox or an English translation?
You can try changing browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to a higher value and see if you like that more. http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config If the problem is that you don't like the wording of the message, this could be a duplicate.
This bug reads as if it is either an issue with the wording of the page or the reporter has filed the report in jest. Resolving INVALID. Reporter, if you are serious about having the wording changed, please file a new bug.
