Attached patch Fix — — Splinter Review
While we wait for an hero to fix bug 343544, there's no point in leaving broken and inappropriate stuff in there: * loading about:credits through the external protocol service can only work out well if you happen to choose Firefox or SeaMonkey to open it (and even then, I'm not entirely sure it will work, just more sure than if you choose Opera or IE) * the chrome links to MPL/NPL are never, ever going to start working again * the phrasing in the (unnecessary, see bug 536336) copyright statement turned out horribly, "Sunbird™ is copyright Copyright ©1998-2008" * that failure to update the year could, in circumstances that don't apply (which makes it unnecessary), lose you a year of copyright term, while not including the year or anything else cannot * The Regents of the University of California dropped the advertising clause in 1999, as ftp://ftp.cs.berkeley.edu/pub/4bsd/README.Impt.License.Change linked in about:license says * This software may *not* include anything that SupportSoft holds copyright for, since Talkback is dead and gone * if the links weren't broken, you wouldn't be able to click them anyway, because all the unneeded boilerplate underneath them scrolls them out of view before you can click them (* the real reason I want to remove it is because I want to remove license.dtd, which Firefox will stop using in bug 536336 and Thunderbird will stop using in bug 537045 and SeaMonkey never started using, so it would otherwise be a toolkit/ file only awkwardly used by Sunbird)
