User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2b5) Gecko/20091204 Firefox/3.6b5
A list of all installed Searchplugings can be viewed via the Searchbar --> "Manage Searchplugins".
However in the upcoming window there's no possibility to edit the Searchplugin Preferences (e. g. the Parameters).
Reproducible: Always
Expected Results:
There should be a possibilty to edit Searchplugin Preferences directly with Firefox. As an example I attach a Screenshot of the Add-On "Organize Search Engines", which I currently use as a workaround, to make my request more clear.

Ryan or Gavin, given the rare use case this is wontfix? The addon seems to be perfect for that case.
Whiteboard: wontfix?
The background of my request was, that some users are spoofing the real "user agent" and the real "accept language" (manually via about:config or via Add-Ons like Torbutton etc.).
In these cases it would be a security issue if the searchplugin would reveal the real "user agent" and the real "accept language" in its search-URL.
To prevent this, the user has to change/remove some critical search-plugin preferences/parameters.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be adding UI for this. It's possible (though not exactly trivial) to write an extension that offers this functionality, and extremely privacy conscious users can always install slightly modified engines or edit their search.json manually.
