All commands that insert objects: H.Line, Image, Link, Named Anchor, and Table, are not working, both from the Insert menu and Composer toolbar

I can't reproduce this with a mac build from this morning or on my Linux build.
on win98 2000092205, insert|image works. Therefore, there is a workaround (at least for me), so this is not a smoketest blocker imho.
This is not an editor problem -- commands in general are not firing reliably.

This seems to be only using Modern skin -- things work fine using Classic

I checked in new focus styles for widgets in modern yesterday. That included making buttons start taking the focus, which they didn't do before. Perhaps that is related.
Since the problems don't seem to exist in Classic skin, what is the difference with behavior there?

This is directly dependent on 53847 ([Modern] toolbar buttons steal focus). With the fix for 53847 in my build, this bug goes away. Might want to give an nsbeta3++ to 53847.

The work-around seems to be "don't use the modern skin," but that doesn't seem acceptable when we need this skin tested and used. Marking dogfood-plus

linux commercial build 2000-09-25-06-M18 image insert works fine but spell checker doesn't fire.
I'll repeat, as I did in my last bug report, that I have this bug fixed and am waiting for approval to check it in. The fix for this is also the fix for 53847.
Oh, I see this bug is double plus'ed already. Will check in this fix today.
