User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6 Let's say I have 2 displays in a dual view, extended desktop configuration. We'll call the displays 1 and 2. The problem is simple: I open maximized Firefox window in display 1, then for some reason I need all the display 1's surface to do a "thing" by indications on a web page, so I need to see Firefox as well. So, quite naturally, I restore the Firefox window, move it on Display 2 and maximize it there (or simply drag&drop it on Display 2 if you have that Win 7 snap feature turned on). I do my job on Display 1, then restore Firefox on Display 2, drag it back on Display 1, and maximize it here, where it first was. Then I close Firefox for a few minutes, and when I run it again, it appears maximized, but on DISPLAY 2, the other display. Noticed that this happens even after reboot. I have to keep dragging it back to where it's supposed to be until it fixes itself. Didn't manage to track down what causes it to stop doing this. Just tested this a minute ago, it seems it only works when maximized all the time, and it works to do the reverse to get it back where i want it. So I can fix it, but hey, still a bug :P Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run maximized on display X 2.Move to Display Y and maximize it there 3.Move it back to Display X and maximize it there 4.Close Firefox and after you run it again it should appear on the other screen Actual Results: Described in details Expected Results: Open on the last display used This is an old bug for me, and has happened to me for over an year, with a wide variety of Windows distributions, hardware configuration and Firefox versions, so my guess is that it's quite "universal".

Yup, the problem is still there. I'm running the latest version of Firefox and it still does the same thing.
