Hello,
I use KDE 4.3.2 and Firefox 3.5.6. If I choose a picture and I click on "Choisir l'image comme fond d'écran" (~ "use this picture for the wallpaper" in english), dialog opens and if I click on "Ok", nothing happens ; wallpaper stays the same before this action.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use Linux distribution with KDE4
2.Choose a picture on a web page
3.Click on picture with right button
4.Choose "Choisir l'image comme fond d'écran" (in french)
5.Click on "Ok" in the new dialog
6.Nothing happens

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

I am not the reporter, but I can say that this issue definitely applies even to Firefox 3.6.13 and KDE SC 4.5.1.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.

I tried to change wallpaper with firefox running in safe mode and with new profile and I cannot change wallpaper. My previous wallpaper stays in place. I use firefox 3.6.13 packaged by Mandriva.

This "problem" is still valid with Firefox ESR 17.0.7 and KDE SC 4.10.4
