Trunk: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100114 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Steps to Reproduce
1. Remove the back/forward buttons.
2. Restart Firefox.
3. Browse to several pages.
4. Add the back/forward buttons.
5. Back button will be grayed out (It should have history).
6. Browse to a couple more pages.
7. Back button is still grayed out (It should really have history).

Note: clicking the drop down arrow attached to the back/forward buttons will display the correct history.  Alt+LeftArrow functions as expected throughout.

The issue is no longer reproducible on the latest Firefox release (46.0.1) and the latest Nightly (49.0a1, Build ID 20160526082533) because we are no longer able to customize the Back/Forward buttons.
