Some things need to be updated on the whole for reporter.mozilla.org to instance a second product now: - A new set of problem types that are much more direct and usable - Platform options - site requires login is unnecessary and has been determined to be not that useful - Product dropdown menu needs to have Fennec 1.0 and x.x in the future After talking to Mike, it'll be a good idea to re-hash this site and make it more usable (with a new set of problem types). So, let's use this bug as a tracker on updates. As for some suggestions for Mobile Firefox, check out https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Fennec/Planning/2010/Reporter

The set of options for site problems feels like it needs work; mostly because I think it might be hard for users to describe the kinds of problem they view and also avoid overlap. I also think ordering is key since users might be likely to pick the first choice that sound anything like the problem they see. for that reason we might order the choices from the most specific kind of problem to the most general to help catch specific problems. can't login printed output is wrong plugin not shown --should this be "plugin content not shown"? other content missing browser not supported "site shows browser not supported message" disability access "disability access not supported" ? <--we should maybe insert "appearance wrong (fonts)" appearance wrong behavior wrong other problem we could also look at current stats to help us figure out if we might be leading the user with current ordering.

Not sure why I'm cc'ed on this bug - did you want a UX audit of these designs, or did you actually want to cc a different Neil?
(In reply to comment #9) > Not sure why I'm cc'ed on this bug - did you want a UX audit of these designs, > or did you actually want to cc a different Neil? Aakash was asking me for UI feedback; thought that you'd be a better person, but I know you've got big workload, so sorry for the drive-by CC.
