It logs me out from my KDE session. (loss of data for all running apps included)
Probably an X server crash caused by Firefox or one of its libraries.
System is an uptodate Centos 5.4 (RHEL 5.4 equivalent).

Reported this already for 3.6 RC1 on one of the feedback pages linked somewhere on firefox.com.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.load http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=366493 in FF 3.6 on Centos 5.4 or RHEL 5.4, most likely also on other Linuxes
