Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6
Firefox 3.6 can no longer open html files on the local hard drive when double-clicking on them from the Finder if the name of the html file contains a space.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take any html file and name it "index with spaces.html"
2. Double click on it from the Finder
(Ensure Firefox is the default browser beforehand.)
Actual Results:
Firefox launches, if not running.
Expected Results:
Firefox launches, if not running.
The HTML document is displayed with a file:// URL.
The identical document will load if the file name is changed to not contain a space.
Verified on two different computers, both running Snow Leopard.
This worked properly in Firefox 3.5.
