Add an "allow this page to produce audio?" feature like the "remember password?" prompt that Firefox, because 99% of the time, I don't want to hear anything from a website.

Yes, this functionality can be found with multiple extensions, but it should be a core feature built into the browser.

Rather difficult to do if the sound in done in a plugin like Flash. There's currently no way to tell a plugin that it should disable sound.

Note thst those extension work by disabling all sound when they notice that a plugin is starting. But it doesn't work always (the plugin can reset the sound level too).
